Dear friend,
Google is without a double the toughest and most strict
search engine to work out and monetise.
-
Google often changes the
rules
-
They charge and evolve more than any other search
engine
-
They hit you with what is called the "Google Slap"
which means you could see your $1 go to a $10 over night.
-
They stop your ads from running
-
They basically control your ads even though you are
paying them very good money.
So what can you do to fix this
challenge?
There are numerous things and I strongly
suggest if you haven't already you should start making the changes to your website that I mentioned in your first
couple of tips. By doing this you will set up your website "HTML Tags" the right way and Google
will recognise this.
You also need to:
-
Keep an eye on your quality score - I like a 2%
conversion as a base minimum;
-
Use the same key words in your Google add that are
on your web page - keep it targeted;
-
Set up testing and tracking on your Google ads
(analytics);
-
Delete ads that are not working and replace with
new ones;
-
Split test two different ads at once for every
keyword group;
-
Delete keywords that are not
working;
-
Add negative keywords - These are the kind of words
you do NOT want in your campaign as they attract people who will usually NOT buy from
you.
There are so many other important attributes to
a good Google PPC campaign and I've found a couple of really cool videos
that can help you... take a look >>
Although these videos are not the full picture I believe
they will help you get started with understanding the basics.
