After running traditional business for many years I decided one day (some years back) to make a big change. I decided to enter the world of internet marketing.

Unfortunately things didn't go to plan in the beginning and it was an expensive learning curve.

It took me over five years to learn, compete, master and dominate target markets online and make my living purely from marketing on the internet. These days I own multiple websites that continue to generate income plus I really enjoy working with people and seeing their company website do well also... The best part is I really love this kind of work

I’ve been learning that without feeling I am achieving, I am not really making a positive difference and I like to make a positive difference in my life and anyone I meet.

I've learnt winning is not always making the most money or driving the flashiest car... to me winning has become putting a smile on the faces of my friends, customers, family and even people who pass me by on the street. Winning is the feeling I get when I take the time to talk to a stranger for just 5 minutes or not hanging up on the late night call from India as they try to sell me the latest and greatest phone deal.

I am not really any different from you or anyone else... I do always push for bigger and better results in everything I do and I like being the best at my chosen fields of expertise.

Having said that I sometimes need to be inspired just like anyone else and here's one of my favourite videos I usually watch when I need some inspiration. I hope you like it too…

So why am I working in Online Marketing?

Some time back I ran a traditional business once and hired someone to help me with my marketing and promotions but I felt they couldn’t care less once they had my money. That's one of the reasons I chose to ALWAYS deliver more than I promise in all that I do. I decided to excel in marketing, especially at online marketing because like most industries there are so many who absolutely suck at it (excuse my bluntness) and leave genuine business owners frustrated that they invested thousands of dollars with no returns.

One of the things I love more than anything is seeing people go from nothing to something incredible... ultimately becoming happy. Here is a really cool video I love from the old star wars movie where Yoda is teaching Luke the ways of the force... Here's the clip.

Often in business (especially internet marketer's ) I think people try to over do it by trying to pretend they are someone that they're not. I can't stand that type of attitude.

 
Although I run a very professional business I am also a laid back kinda guy who is more of a people person rather than a hard nosed business man. So if you're looking to hire someone in a suite and tie, that's not me. I deliver the same wonderful results in a pair of jeans
 
What You see with me is pretty much what you get with me. If you ask me a question and I don't know the answer I'm the kind of person who will tell you "I don't know" rather than pretending to sound like I know.
 
What Sports Do I Like Most?
 
I really love a good game of golf although I've not made time for it much in the past two years. I did go out and spend a few thousand dollars about six years back on some new clubs and bag only to allow myself to get distracted by work... I won't let that happen again hehehe. I will be playing golf again three to four times a week come July 27.
 

Also, I use to be a pretty hot tennis player. I had one of the best tennis coaches when I was young - Laurence Hall who now is behind one of the largest tennis companies in Australia "Alinta". so I'm looking forward to getting back to both golf and tennis in 2010.

 
I also miss my training. I was a very strong runner and trained six to seven days a week. Sometimes twice a day. Was never over baring with muscles, rather was slim and agile... the way I like to be.
 
One of my favourite things to do is SPEED!
 
I love fast bikes. I owned a 2005 Honda CBR 1000 and rode it with a friend to Ayres Rock back in 2005. We went out to central Australia for one reason... to go fast!
 
In my industry there are a lot of people pretending to know it all but they really don't.
 
Often I am prospected by SEO companies who found one of my many websites trying to offer me a deal. The thing is they do like most do... offer a really cheap deal.

The problem is that when I start asking the hard questions they tend not to call me back.
